A Florida native, Bobby was born in Tampa and raised in Lakeland. He grew up in a fishing family, spending his time as a kid on the lakes around Kissimmee. "My father and grandfather were my fishing heroes," Bobby says. "No matter what, they always took me fishing. They gave me my love for the outdoors."

Bobby started fishing professionally in 2002, and moved to the FLW circuit in 2004, winning the Rookie of the Year award. In 2007, he stepped up to the Bassmaster Elite Series, and in his first season, he won their Rookie of the Year trophy and qualified for the Bassmaster Classic. In 2008, he backed up his first Elite year with a solid second, again qualifying for the Classic, and is set to fish his third in 2010. He's finished in the money in 24 out of 29 events, with XX top-ten finishes.

In 2009, Bobby reached one of his professional goals: a win on the Elite Series. On Kentucky Lake, he beat out past Classic champions and Angler of the Year winners to claim the Tennessee Triumph trophy. "That was the greatest moment of my career so far. But winning only makes you want to win again that much more."

When he's not on the water, Bobby likes to spend as much time as he can with his wife and kids. "Life on the road is tough," he says. "When I'm home, spending time with them is the most important thing."
